Bethlehem, PA — This report just in from frequent PE commenter and Bethlehem resident BONO:
Just a quick update fans. My daily jog takes me right through the Lehigh Campus. The green skirting with the Eagles logo is up on the chain link fence surrounding the fields, most of the tents are up, the bleachers are in place, the sleds are out and ready for the padding, and despite the heat, the fields look to be green and in great shape. The countdown has begun. Next week can’t come soon enough. Be sure to call in sick a day or two and come on up. A new season is about to begin.
Thanks for that, BONO… that’s just enough to get my TC juices goin’! Despite the heat (which I found to be my worst opponent during high school tryout camps), a day trip or a weekend visit to lovely Bethlehem is recommended for all our fans who live close enough to the Lehigh Valley to make it happen. Here’s the Eagles Training Camp schedule:
QB Kevin Kolb huddles up in last year’s TC at Lehigh…

On with the show… and remember, Lord Brizer’s key theme word for this season is: “PROSPICE” … in other words, don’t look back, think positive thoughts, and let’s see what good things may come as the Birds turn the page in real time.
