Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney gave Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots a taste of their own medicine during Sunday’s game.
Teammate Whitney Mercilus came off the edge and drilled Tom Brady in the second quarter of the game, and the ball popped out of the quarterback’s hands. Clowney caught it in the air and returned it for the 22-yard touchdown.
He was met in the end zone by his teammates, and his celebration did not disappoint. Clowney got himself some space, and then spiked the ball with authority, mimicking Gronk’s touchdown celebration.

It’s hard not to feel bad for the ball after watching that clip — Clowney spiked it pretty hard.
