It’s highly unlikely that Jalen Hurts will be starting under center for the Crimson Tide in their College Football Playoff game against Oklahoma, now that Tua Tagovailoa has been practicing and appears to be getting healthy, but he’s still provided the team with plenty of big-time throws and strong leadership in his three-year tenure at Alabama.
Hurts, a public relations major, graduated from the university on Saturday, and he received a great standing ovation from his classmates, parents and teachers in attendance when he took the stage to receive his diploma.
Standing ovation when he takes the field. Standing ovation when he walks the stage. Congrats + a big #RollTide to the legend himself, @JalenHurts 💪 #BamaGrad #WhereLegendsAreMade pic.twitter.com/aq6AnaHKqw

He’s a class act, and has done so much for the football program — including entering the SEC Championship game and leading a huge comeback to win against Georgia two weeks ago. Hurts deserves all the recognition and praise he has received over the years.
