It’s pretty clear that 76ers center Joel Embiid likes being the center of attention, and is enjoying his role as the team’s most dominant player on the court right now.
Embiid’s social media activity, though, can sometimes be a bit questionable, and he has weighed in on a variety of topics in recent years. On Tuesday night, teammate Ben Simmons was having some fun trying out Instagram’s new live video broadcasting feature, and Embiid asked him a question that wouldn’t be considered a normal talking point on social media.
While Simmons was broadcasting, Embiid posted the following question as a comment:
“Are you a virgin?”

He also mentioned that Chandler Parsons is a virgin, and maybe that’s because he asked the Grizzlies forward the same question late Monday night.

This whole act by Embiid just shows he still has some growing up to do. It’s a lot more weird than it is funny.
