Redskins first-round draft pick Josh Doctson has had a disappointing start to his career, with injuries and inability to stay on the field.
But he showed up in a big way on Sunday night.
Held without a catch, the Redskins gave Doctson a chance to shine, and he came up big. Kirk Cousins floated the ball up for him near the end zone, and cornerback David Amerson appeared to have position on his opponent. Amerson initially had the ball in his hands, but Doctson took the ball away from him for the 52-yard score.
JOSH DOCTSON.
