Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels remains one of the hottest names on the head coaching market, and given the lack of talent available, he can pretty much pick the right fit for him, which is a great position to be in.
McDaniels is rumored to be sought after by the Packers, Browns and Bengals — although the latter option apparently isn’t for him. He didn’t even want to interview with the Bengals.
If you’re wondering when Josh McDaniels’ interview with the #Bengals is happening, it apparently won’t. Source says McDaniels is passing on Cincy’s request.

It’s quite a different story for the other Ohio team, though. McDaniels is “very interested” in that job, according to a report from Steve Doerschuk of CantonRep.com.
“McDaniels is enthusiastically interested in the Cleveland opening,” it read. “The Browns have used back channels to indicate a mutual preliminary interest, but they have not invited him to an early interview. The Green Bay Packers did, and he said yes.”
This makes sense, as the Browns could actually be the most attractive job in the NFL — which has probably never been written before. But they have talent on both sides of the ball, a general manager who’s built winning teams, and, most importantly — a franchise quarterback.
