Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell signed his franchise tag tender earlier in the month, even though it didn’t result in him making the big bucks he was looking to be paid this season.
Still, $12.1 million is a lot of money, and Bell doesn’t need to seek work elsewhere. The extra income is nice, but a second job isn’t something that appeared to be in his future.
Bell, however, must have an affinity for serving ice cream, because he did log a few hours at another place of employment on Tuesday, and it wasn’t one you’d normally think of him working at.
In case you didn’t know, back on Aug. 31, when he was still holding out, he applied to work at Dairy Queen.

Luckily for him, he appeared to get the job, and on Tuesday he showed up at a Dairy Queen in Pittsburgh to serve ice cream to customers.

Maybe it was the free Blizzards, or maybe he really likes serving people. Whatever the reason, it was cool to see Bell doing something outside of football in the community.
