NBA coaches are a part of the action, too, and managing games from in front of the bench can be a slippery business, which Frank Vogel learned on Wednesday night.
It happened in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game, when the Trail Blazers had the ball, and Damian Lillard pulled up to attempt a three-pointer from the top of the key. Vogel, who was standing at the time, walked briskly toward the other side of the bench, but ended up slipping and taking a spill on the court in the process.

It’s unclear if Vogel just tripped and lost his balance, or if he slipped on a wet spot to cause the fall. What we do know is that Lillard drained the triple — adding insult to injury for Vogel.
