Hall of Fame point guard Magic Johnson likes what he sees from James Harden and is giving credit where credit is due.
The Houston Rockets star is currently on a seven-game double-double streak after finishing with 38 points and 10 assists in Sunday’s 130-114 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Harden is averaging 28.9 points, 12.2 assists and 7.4 rebounds in first-year coach Mike D’Antoni’s system, and he is without a doubt one of the frontrunners for MVP.
Johnson praised the Rockets coach for his decision to move Harden to full-time point guard.

In 2012, Johnson criticized his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, for hiring D’Antoni. When D’Antoni resigned after two seasons, Johnson was way too happy to hear about it.
Happy days are here again! Mike D'Antoni resigns as the Lakers coach. I couldn't be happier!

It’s funny how Johnson changed his tune now that D’Antoni is coaching the Rockets. Nevertheless, it’s good to see D’Antoni getting credit for Harden’s incredible season thus far.
