Marcus Mariota threw an interception in Sunday’s game against the Titans that would make a quarterbacks coach’s head explode.
It happened in the second quarter, and Mariota broke a lot of rules on this play. First off, he threw all the way across his body. Furthermore, he did so on the run.
The result was a pass that was nowhere near his receiver, and the easiest interception of Quinton Demps’ career.
Mechanically, you can't throw the ball like this. Horrific play. pic.twitter.com/POBvlqGUTd

That’s a throw you shouldn’t even attempt at the professional level. Mariota should’ve just took off running to pick up a few yards.
