A Preview Of the 2015 Eagles Schedule

The Philadelphia Eagles came just short of making the 2014 postseason, after trying to salvage the season with Mark Sanchez at quarterback after Nick Foles went down with injury. Chip Kelly’s inventive offense didn’t have the consistency it needed, which is something to keep an eye on in 2015.

Foles’ broken collarbone is a thing of the past, and he should be ready for the start of the 2015 season to claim the position that was his. Although there has been speculation that the Eagles brass has been looking into acquiring 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota from Oregon, which Kelly left to coach the Eagles, Foles is confident he will be named the starter as training camp approaches.

After a record-breaking 2013, LeSean McCoy looks to rebound from a somewhat down season in 2014. McCoy only found the end zone five times on the ground and rushed for just over 1,300 yards, which is mediocre for the standards he set.

Jeremy Maclin didn’t care what quarterback was throwing him the ball. Maclin had an exceptional year, catching 85 passes for 1,318 yard and 10 touchdowns.

The Eagles will have a tough time once again within their division, as the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are on the rise. The Cowboys were a controversial call away from reaching the NFC Championship game, and the Giants have a year of Bob McAdoo’s offense under their belt and will have Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz lined up on the field at the same time.

Rounding out the schedule, the Eagles host the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. They face the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Jets and Detroit on the road.

Hipmunk.com can help Eagles’ fans to see their high-flying offense at home or on the road.  Fans can review their detailed Philadelphia flights guide for information on all activity in and out of Philadelphia International Airport. Out-of-towners can also reserve hotels near Lincoln Financial Field for as little as $72 which is typically cheaper than the price of tickets for many Eagles home games.

The Eagles look back to get to their 2013 form when Kelly and his offense took the league by storm. They took a small step back in 2014, but are looking to step on the gas pedal even harder this season.
