The 2nd round pick used on Randy Gregory had high risk, and unknown reward. We now know the pick was high risk and the Cowboys will not get anything out of him.
Gregory was already on a 10 game suspension for being a habitual drug user. The Cowboys even had him in rehab for several months.
He has again failed a drug test, thus earning him a 1 year ban for the 2017 season.
#Cowboys DE Randy Gregory has failed another drug test, sources tell @MikeGarafolo & me. Per the drug policy, next suspension is a year.

He has proven he rather do drugs than play football. His career is over.
The Cowboys will again be looking for pass rush help in the offseason. Gregory has been a total bust and Demarcus Lawrence is not that good three season in has proven he’s more of a rotational player and not a franchise, cornerstone defensive player.
