Rematches are always on the table, right? The bleak bout against one another at UFC 208 didn’t answer any questions. de Randamie (8-3) ended up defeating Holm for the Women’s Featherweight Championship, even though she hit Holm more than twice after the bell rang in multiple rounds.
Since UFC 208, de Randamie was stripped of the belt and won a bantamweight bout against Raquel Pennington. Now on a four-fight win streak, one would assume she would be ready for another title shot. Would the UFC trust her again in the position?
Enter Holly.
Whether she is the champion or not, Holm can right a wrong from the dreaded UFC 208 event. While not a “sexy” matchup, the rematch between two fighters known for their kicks and power punches could end up being a worthy sequel.
