Aspen Ladd
The fight that got away. Both Holm and Ladd (7-0) were scheduled to face one another at UFC 235, but the fight was called off. Ladd is on a two-fight win streak and is making waves in the bantamweight division. She has five wins via knockout and has defeated Lina Lansberg, Amanda Cooper and Tonya Evinger.
At only 24, a match against Ladd would be a big test for Holm. Ladd already has five wins via knockout. While that doesn’t hold much compared to Holm’s eight, both can strike at any point in a bout.
Scheduled to face Sijara Eubanks in a rematch at UFC Rochester, another win could propel Ladd straight to a title bout, or the anticipated Holm fight. Both have something to prove considering the bout was highly regarded before disappearing.
