The Steelers did what they had to do and took care of business against the Browns. It was a cold day in northeastern Ohio and a cold day in Western Pennsylvania. Thankfully we had the scorching hot takes of Twitter to keep us warm.
Before the game, hopes weren’t too high…
If we win I'm not even going to be that excited cuz it's the Browns, but if we lose, I'm going to curl up in a little ball and die. The End.

The Browns hit a big play to convert an early third down and get into scoring territory, but the Steelers rookie stepped up.
Say what you want about Artie Burns, but the #Steelers secondary has two INTS this year and he has both.
— Adam Crowley (@_adamcrowley) November 20, 2016
My god, this #Browns team is even worse than I thought. As long as the #Steelers bail them out, this might be competitive.

Burns with an INT, an illegal hands, and a missed tackle. His season in a quarter. #Steelers

Around the league, an epidemic was striking kickers…

Steelers have 10 first downs in their first 2 possessions of the game.
In their most recent road game, they'd had TWO thru 3 quarters
— Chris Adamski (@C_AdamskiTrib) November 20, 2016
The end of the first half was a debauchery in and of itself. Rather than kicking a field goal with 5 seconds left, Tomlin left the offense out. The Steelers failed twice but thanks to two Browns penalties the Steelers got two untimed downs and finally got it in.

For the love of God, kick the ball!!! #Steelers

Tomlin's going all Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy now. #Steelers fans will always remember his many 12s.
— Neal Coolong (@NealCoolong) November 20, 2016
Is Tomlin trying to impress the College Football Playoff committee? You haven't been good enough to gamble like that. Just win the game.
— Will Graves (@WillGravesAP) November 20, 2016
The second half was basically more of the same from the first half

Bell showing in this game why some team may back up the brinks truck for his services in 2017 if he was clean off the field but not the case

What's PI anymore?

Harrison is now the #Steelers all-time sack leader. And beat Joe Thomas to do it
— Dale Lolley (@dlolley_pgh) November 20, 2016
0-10. Play it safe Brownies. Kick the fg
— Randy Baumann (@DVERandy) November 20, 2016
I find myself randomly laughing out loud when watching the Browns.
— Behind the Steel Curtain (@btsteelcurtain) November 20, 2016
Seems like #Browns have a new QB every quarter of every game. Kessler lasted 2+ quarters in this one.
— Steelers Wire (@TheSteelersWire) November 20, 2016
Remember that extra point thing I mentioned? The Browns missed one too.
9, NINE, missed extra points in NFL today. 2-pt going be en vogue sooner or later.
— David Todd (@DavidMTodd) November 20, 2016
The Steelers lead was cut to just 8 though, so things were still a bit tense.
Steelers playing with fire. #HereWeGo

7 sacks and counting! Keep doing it boys
— Cam Heyward (@CamHeyward) November 20, 2016
When the player is hurt maybe you don't celebrate as much. Mike Mitchell sucks.
— SuckMeter (@SuckMeter) November 20, 2016
Likely add Terrelle Pryor to the list of NFL WRs who will have not-nice things to say about Mike Mitchell after a game facing him.
— Chris Adamski (@C_AdamskiTrib) November 20, 2016
Thankfully, the Browns were the Browns and Shazier came up with a strip-sack that Javon Hargrave recovered in the end zone for a touchdown to ice the game.
ahahaha what a wonderfully Browns way to seal this game
— James Santelli (@JamesSantelli) November 20, 2016
Well, I think Josh McCown will fall to 5-31 in 4QC attempts. Brutal.

At the end of the day, Cleveland gonna Cleveland. #Steelers

Alright, that hit to the head gets called every time (unless it involves Roethlisberger or Newton)
