Looking at ankle sprains, and if Hayward has a Grade III, a four-week return seems ambitious. The weird thing is the Celtics usually give the worst-case recovery times.

Silver lining: The Celtics have a lot of experience playing without Gordon Hayward. They went 14-6 without him this season.
And Boston has historically played well when they become the "Hospital Celtics". Still a huge loss to not have Hayward in the playoff though.

UNBELIEVEABLE!
I’m mildly confident the Celtics can beat Philly without Hayward, but the 2nd round series with Toronto was going to be a dogfight even with Gordon.
We’re going on four years now of shitty injury luck. When will the madness end???
