Panthers running back Theo Riddick may not be as athletic as Ameer Abdullah, but the 201-pounder showed he can make defenders miss in the open field, too.
Riddick caught a pass late in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Panthers, and was quickly met by All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly. He wasn’t fazed, though, as the Lions running back used a great stop-and-start move in combination with a quick stiff-arm to send Kuechly to the ground.
Riddick made a few more defenders miss as well, and the result of the play was a 21-yard gain.
