Conor McGregor stepped into the boxing ring for the first time last Saturday, and got destroyed by Floyd Mayweather Jr. — the GOAT.
Still, though, McGregor had no reason to hang his head. After all, he did go toe-to-toe with the GOAT for a few rounds, which is more than some gave him credit for. And, most importantly, he made roughly $100 million from the fight.
But The Notorious One was a fierce competitor, and he wanted to win the fight. That was evident from a video which recently surfaced, as it shows McGregor and UFC president Dana White after Saturday’s bout. McGregor actually apologized to White for losing, but all he received from White was praise.

You can’t blame either for acting the way they did. At the end of the day, it was a win-win situation for all parties involved.
