Paige VanZant returned to the Octagon for the first time in over a year to square off against Rachael Ostovich at UFC Fight Night 143: Brooklyn on Saturday, and she did not disappoint.
Ostovich, to her credit, did manage to control a good chunk of the fight, as she had VanZant on the ground for the majority of it. VanZant, however, showed just how resilient and smart she is, as he eventually flipped the script and used the ground domination to her advantage in the second round.
VanZant managed to bring Ostovich down to the ground and also twisted her arm as well, managing to submit her opponent with a brutal armbar, that looked like it really hurt.
