Don’t mess with Canadiens goaltender Carey Price.
Not only is he arguably the best netminder in the league, and a big reason the Canadiens are doing as well as they are this year, but he can also throw a pretty solid punch, too.
Devils forward Kyle Palmieri learned that lesson during Thursday night’s game, when he got knocked into Price and took him out in the process. Price responded by getting up quickly and throwing multiple punches at Palmieri while the Devils right winger was still down on the ice.

The funny thing is that his teammate, Jeff Petry, pushed Palmieri into him. And things then spiraled out of control from there.
Price was hit with a four-minute penalty for roughing, while Palmieri got two minutes for goaltender interference.
