Well, that did not take long. After the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense was able to shut down the Washington Redskins’ offense on their opening drive of the game. The Eagles’ offense got their chance to put points on the board.
On their first offensive play, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz took a deep shot to wide receiver Torrey Smith, who was matched up against Redskins cornerback Josh Norman but missed. However, on third down, Wentz did not miss as he was able to maneuver through Washington’s defensive line to find wide receiver Nelson Agholor for a broken play 58-yard touchdown reception.

It was not pretty easy nor easy but the Eagles will certainly take the early lead against their division rival. Also if you are an Eagles fan, you have to be excited that Agholor did not drop the ball and made a play. If Agholor can become a reliable target for Wentz out of the slot this season, then the Eagles’ offense should be that much more explosive.
