Packers linebacker Clay Matthews clearly wasn’t expecting the hit he received in the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Eagles.
It happened when Bryce Treggs received a toss from Carson Wentz and tried to turn the corner, with Matthews in pursuit. Eagles right tackle Allen Barbre, though, was pulling on the play, and he came out of nowhere to deliver a huge blindside block on Matthews.

Matthews suffered a shoulder injury on the play, and went to the sideline for a short while to sit out for a few plays.
