76ers center Joel Embiid is all about trusting “the process,” but he wasn’t too happy about his minutes restriction during Wednesday night’s game against the Grizzlies.

The Sixers have been trying to ease him back into the lineup, limiting him to 24 minutes per game, and when he logged 27 on Wednesday, his night was over. The game was close throughout, and ended up going to double overtime. However, when that final stanza began, a team doctor informed Embiid he was done for the night.

Embiid reacted by kicking a chair in the doctor’s direction.

The Sixers big man is a competitor, and clearly wants to do all he can to help the team win, but kicking a chair was not only reckless, but also immature.
