Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving was not happy after receiving an elbow from Paul Pierce in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game, and he delivered a shot to his opponent in response.
It happened when Pierce set a screen, which Irving attempted to fight through. However, it looked as if Pierce shifted his weight a bit, and Irving caught some of his elbow as a result.
Irving, understandably, wasn’t happy about it, so he struck Pierce in his ribs. We won’t call it a punch, but it was close.
