Everyone remembers when Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston once tried to fire up his teammates before a game by telling them to “eat a win,” with a hand gesture and all, and he may never live it down.
Winston put his fingers in the shape of a “W,” then inserted them in his mouth, during a fiery pregame speech last November, and it wasn’t the type of moment you normally see on a football field.
Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch reminded him of it during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game, after Winston came up short in his attempt to move the chains on a run. That brought up fourth down, and Vander Esch let him know about it by doing a “W” gesture in Winston’s face.
Ate the W right in Jameis’ face 😂

Winston probably didn’t appreciate Vander Esch’s taunt.
