That’s essentially what Redskins rookie linebacker Nico Marley was saying on Friday, when he gave karaoke a try at a fundraiser for Mobile Hope — a charity that gives back to the homeless.
Marley, whose grandfather is the famous reggae singer Bob Marley, tried to sing his own version of “Waiting in Vain.” It wasn’t all that great, but he tried hard, and it was for a good cause.
