Stephen A. Smith was on the scene in Las Vegas for Saturday night’s bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.
That entailed him being subjected to a jerk who was trying to get his five seconds of fame during a live telecast after the fight was in the books.
Smith was providing his thoughts on the fight, when the man made his way onto the stage and yelled “F– the Mayweathers!” SAS then gave him a long, cold stare, and when ESPN anchor Steve Levy asked if he knew the man, the stone-faced analyst had the following to say:
“I don’t know who the man is” he uttered.

Smith’s reaction was both entertaining and appropriate. The fan was just trying to become the next viral sensation — at the expense of himself, since he looked like a fool.
