The 2016-17 NBA season has been entertaining so far, but hasn’t featured all that many ridiculously entertaining dunks.
But we were treated to one on Wednesday night, thanks to Larry Nance Jr.
Nance showed that when he puts it all together, he can be the total package toward the end of the third quarter of the game. He brought the ball up the floor, and then used a nice crossover dribble on the perimeter to get some space and allow him to drive the lane.
He did just that, but was met by Brook Lopez, who’s seven feet tall. It didn’t matter, as Nance took flight from just inside the free-throw line and threw down a ferocious dunk over Lopez.

It was so sick that even the Nets announcers and players were taken back by it.
