Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels has done a great job filling James Conner’s void, and he was effective right out of the gate in Sunday’s game against the Patriots.
Samuels racked up 49 (of 75 total) yards in the team’s first drive of the game, which resulted in a touchdown, and the Steelers jumping out to a 7-0 lead. He exploited some mismatches against the Patriots linebackers, using his elusiveness to make would-be tacklers miss.
He also snuck in a troll job at one point in the first half, taking a seat on the Patriots bench with the ball in his hands at the end of a play. The Patriots weren’t having it, though, as two players immediately shoved him off of it.
Jaylen Samuels wanted a break on the Pats bench and they said nah 😅
