Cowboys Must Win 12 Games to Get into the Playoffs

Every team is down to the last three games of the year, and Sunday night could be for all the marbles for the NFC East. The loser will face a gargantuan task at getting in as a wild card.

I’m looking at the remaining teams still in the hunt in the NFC and it’s going to come down to the wire for everyone. I think the Packers secure homefield at 13-3, they are the team to beat right now, and the Super Bowl will go through Lambeau this year.

Let’s look at the rest of the field.

— Cardinals (10-3): @Rams; Seahawks; @49ers

The Cardinals were lucky to win against the Chiefs, but I think they only win one more game and end up being a wild card.

Prediction: (11-5)

— Eagles (9-4): Cowboys; @Redskins; @Giants

The Eagles could sweep the rest of the NFC East, their only obstacle will be the Cowboys on Sunday Night. I do believe the Cowboys will come back strong, rested, and well prepared enough to pull out the win.

Prediction: (11-5)

— Seahawks (9-4): 49ers; @Cardinals; Rams

Seattle is getting hot and look to be in championship form and this will give them the momentum to get into the playoffs as the NFC West Champs.

Prediction: (12-4)

— Lions (9-4):  Vikings; @Bears; @Packers

The Lions will face tough competition, but at the end of the day, they probably only lose one more time. You can pick that one game from any of the final three games. Their last game against the Packers could get them in the playoffs if the Packers are resting players in week 17.

Prediction: (11-5)

— Cowboys (9-4): @Eagles; Colts; @Redskins

The Cowboys control their destiny for one more week, but a loss against the Eagles will set them back and likely leave them outside looking in no matter if they win the last two games. That being said, this Sunday night will feel like a playoff game, and everyone will need to play their hearts out. 10 days will have the Cowboys rested and ready to go on the road and win big. A win against the Eagles will give us a mental boost and momentum the final two games and into the playoffs.
