In a season full of disappointments and embarrassments it’s only fitting the 2015 Miami Dolphins win their final game of the season vs the Patriots. Yea sure it may keep the Patriots from getting home field advantage throughout the playoffs(at the time of this writing San Diego vs. Denver had not started. Denver needs to win to get the #1 seed), but in reality it may cost them in the 2016 draft.
It was nice to see Miami beat a shorthanded Patriots team, actually it’s nice to see them beat anyone. But remember the players they miss out on during the draft because of that final win. Not saying they should’ve played to lose, but it’s just icing on the cake to a crap season. A “Murphy’s Law” moment perhaps.
This is more about the lack of confidence of the Miami Dolphins management to correctly pick the right players in the draft. They could’ve used all the help they got with a higher slot not only in the first round, but in each round following–not to mention if they were to make a trade. Oh–and how much better does it look to entice an upper tier coach with a top 5 pick?
In the end Larry, Moe and Curly could be the next head coach, offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator with hood rat Ryan Mallett at QB. As long as they win it doesn’t matter.
