Growing Pains

Hats off to Coach Petersen for his call going for two, proved to be the game winner.

Many might try to make excuses for the loss, I will not. No team wins every game year in year out, no team however feels the pressure of winning every game like Bronco Nation and the Boise State players.

You win as a team you lose as a team and the one great thing about college football is that these are young men out there playing this game learning maturing and getting better every week, and this week TCU was just 1 point better than us. This will not be the last time Boise State losses a big game, and if you are full of abandonment and despair then you are not truly a member of Bronco nation.

We’ve all experienced loses before and the last 2 certainly feel worsted then any you have felt before but that’s only because of the level of play and expectation we have for our Bronco’s.

In a season we play with depth and so far this season we’ve seen many new players enter the field some old just getting their chance so fresh out of high school, these will be the ones taking the most out of what happened today and let’s hope they take their learns, as their was much to learn from. It is not our job as fans to rant and rave about who needs to learn what, it is our job as fans to support them and encourage them going forward. This season is far from over , the likely hood of a BCS game is slim specially considering TCU should win out and there bay win the conference, hard to swallow, but I’m not sure it is any harder than it was for  TCU swallow that Fiesta bowl loss.

Boys we fielded did all they could with where they are at in their ability, and from what I seen the future looks bright. As we aspire to achieve and better our lot in life things will only get harder not easier, if Boise moves on to the Big East competition will certainly game to game get tougher, the ups will get higher and the lows will get lower but lets not forget what it means to be a Bronco !

SDSU is up next  then Wyoming and they just played TCU to their limit so certainly we cannot afford to have a down week, heads up and on to the next!

Remember nothing is good nr bad until compared to something else, be greatful you are not a Penn State Fan!
