Sometimes you get caught buying into others B.S. I’ve been sick as a dog the last couple of days and yesterday was the worse, matter of fact I’m still sick as a dog today that’s why I’m up at 4 am, but last night feeling ragged and total out of it from struggling to overcome when the Iowa State Okie state game went to half 17 to 7 I thought to myself well there goes my hope of an Iowa State upset as I went and laid anguishing in my bed from the stomach flu I presume, after perhaps 20 minutes I fell into a deep sleep a sleep so deep neither my wife nor son could wake me to watch the Iowa State come back, only a 4 am bathroom call could shake me from my slumber, without even a thought of the game I wondered in to my home office opened up my sites to check them and for some reason I checked my tweets, I’m not big on tweeter or whatever it’s called and I see this string of conversations by the Idaho Statesmen Bronco beat and this twitter.

Just redid my BCS projections. I have LSU-Bama. Which means Sugar can go Big Ten. Which means OkSt is out. Fiesta is OU vs. Stanford/Boise??

No RT @socalspud: @ids_broncobeat. Would Pete played last drive fiff if had known NCG/Heisman were REALLY at stake ??
And I’m thinking to my self wtf is he talking about?
I’ll be honest I like Okie State I think they have a fine team, however I did agree with some later first quarter analysts, when those calling the game talked about Iowa States coach statement of weathering the first 10 minutes and getting the game into the half close. The Cyclones have been coming on strong and they are certainly a team that has greatly improved since the second quarter of the season I had only watch some of two f their games this year the Uconn game on espn3 reply and most of that was from watching the DVR play back of the Boise State Toledo game I had just attended. I never take seriously any team that barely beats a Uconn team even if it is a away game. The Texas Tech game however was a different matter altogether as Tech had just come off of their upset of #3 Oklahoma a team I believed then and believe now is way way over rated. They just destroyed Tech and Tech has yet to recover. So after reading about the close game against Kansas I really didn’t know what to make of this game so when the score struck 17-7 I took my bubbling innards up stairs to bed and called it an early day.
SO now I am going to watch the second and report back late, but what does this mean for Boise State?
Not much really , sure there is going to be all this over rated SEC talk and unless there is total bedlam in the SEC say a Georgia loss to GTech then a Georgia upset of LSU in the SEC Championship game ( it could happen!) Boise is still poised to make a BCS run, in fact is the Tulsa Houston game still holds a larger sway over Boise State then the other games and the fact is the human pollsters will not look at this loss by Okie State as being worse than Boise States loss to TCU even though they should but I won’t get in to the reason why today. Nope the only real change here is now we know for sure at least one of the two Big 12 teams ahead of us in the polls will end up behinds us at the end of the season, which is a good thing the deeper Boise State can get into the top 10 the harder it will be to overlook them for a BCS game as of now Boise Should finish no worse than 8th and if total bedlam breaks out and it could USC could stomp Oregon, Stanford is a flawed team Criminal U showed that I could see them dropping two more games Clemson is going to lose again and so is V-Tech they simple are not as good as their rankings dictate. It could all come down to a three loss Georgia Team beating a #1 SEC team that could dare I say it put Boise State into the MNCG .. there I said it it could happen, this loss by Okie State believe it or not opens just a little the chances of Boise State getting into the big game.
Stranger things have happened.
