BCS Championship Standings: Alabama On Top, Florida State Jumps to No.2

The BCS standings were unveiled tonight for the first time this season and things took a sharp turn, particularly with Florida State’s 51-14 beatdown of Clemson. For the Tigers, it must have felt as if the Seminoles just marched in there, took Clemson down, then kicked them afterwards.

Adding to the mayhem are several losses by the top ten teams. Ole’ Miss defeated #6 LSU 27-24.  # 24 Auburn defeated # 7 Texas A/M 45-41. # 13 Stanford won against #9 UCLA 24-10. UCF edged #8 Louisville 38-35.

Big surprise: Florida State jumped to # 2 after defeating Clemson.
