Houston Texans RB Arian Foster Has Season-Ending Back Surgery, Done For Season. : After undergoing surgery for a ruptured disc in his back, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is done for the year.

Foster, who rushed for 542 yards on 121 carries and one touchdown, originally suffered the injury in training camp, only to have it flare up again, leaves the Texans devoid of it’s best threat on the ground.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Asks For Trade : According to media reports, Steelers franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has asked for a trade out of the Steel City.

After wining two Super Bowls in his first six years, Roethlisberger has since dealt with constant injury, losses on offense in free agency, a deteriorating and suspect offensive line and constant clashes with second-year offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

If Big Ben is indeed traded, look for the Arizona Cardinals, coached by former offensive coordinator, Bruce Arians to be a possible destination.
