The Philadelphia 76ers are just one game into the 2016-17 season, yet somehow one fan has already put his name in the running for “idiot of the year.”
The team squared off against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, and Russell Westbrook stole the show. He finished just one assist shy of a triple double, with 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine helpers.
Westbrook is a pretty amazing player, and we all know that. But apparently, one raucous Sixers fan didn’t like him all that much. He flipped off Westbrook and yelled “f— you” at the Thunder guard on the first quarter of the game.

That fan should be banned from going to games in the future—at least for this season—for his unnecessary, crude gesture.
