Anderson, 25, briefly left Denver’s win over the Texans, but returned to the game and finished with 107 rushing yards and a touchdown.
He missed practice on Wednesday, and there was initially some concern that the injury to his knee could be season-ending. But Anderson’s MRI results seem to indicate he’ll be able to make a return to the field at some point in 2016.
Through seven games, Anderson has rushed for 437 yards and four touchdowns. He also has 16 catches and a receiving touchdown.
Rookie running back Devontae Booker is expected to take over as the team’s lead back while Anderson heals his injured knee.
