That Was Awesome!

Attention everyone, I have an announcement to make: I was wrong. I was dead wrong when I wrote that it didn’t matter where Derek Jeter got his 3000th hit. I said it would have been cool if he did it in Wrigley, that he would have gotten a standing ovation anywhere. Those statements might be true but that doesn’t make them right. Did you see that today? It was awesome! Everyone went crazy. The fans, the players the announcers, Jeter, A-Rod, Posada, everyone. It was so cool. He had to do it in pinstripes, anything else would have been a travesty.  If he had hit a home run anywhere else, it would have lacked the awe that this moment inspired. It was almost as if it was scripted. Amazing to watch.

That’s all I wanted to say about that, admit I was wrong before and comment on how cool today was. Tomorrow, however, I plan to publish something I’ve been working on and thinking about for a while. I plan to start a revolution. A mass movement hellbent on achieving one common goal.  Between you and me, I think its going to happen. Check back tomorrow.
