30 Parks: A Sports Photography Travel Book

buschAn avid baseball fan and amateur photographer from NY, Kevin Davis, launched an Indiegogo campaign this week to gain funding for a part-travel, part-photography book called 30 Parks: The Big League Stadium Experience.  In it, he plans to include a variety of images from all 30 Major League Baseball ballparks, covering everything from crowd ambiance, to stadium specialty cuisine, to structural highlights.  Not only will it be full of great shots, but it will also serve as a travel companion, highlighting what to see, do, and eat on your next trip to each city and stadium.  His plan is to travel to each park during the 2014 baseball season to collect the images and release the book in October 2014.

Kevin needs your help to make this lifelong dream happen.  His Indiegogo funding goal covers only his travel expenses and publishing costs for the first 3,000 books.  He does not intend to profit from the book’s production.  He has less than 60 days to fund the project.  If that doesn’t happen, there will be no trip, no book, and no dream realized.

Those of us in the baseball community can help make this happen.  Consider backing this project, and depending on the level of donation, you can get a signed copy of the book, memorabilia from the journey, or even meet him at your local team’s stadium and appear in the book.  Get more info on the project, watch the intro video, and choose your backer level.

Let’s band together and support a fellow sports fan by donating and sharing the project on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or whatever means necessary to gain the funds to send Kevin on his journey of a lifetime.
