The 6-foot-9, 235-pound power forward broke the backboard with a dunk during a workout session at Santa Monica High School, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s Chris Vivlamore. The Hawks are in town to play the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Vivlamore notes the Hawks will pay to replace the backboard and any other damages from the incident.
Humphries posted a picture of the backboard on Instagram.
