WATCH: Isaiah Thomas makes crazy shot while running out of bounds

Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas made one of the most difficult shots of the NBA season so far on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, it did not count.

Thomas was fouled on one particular play in the fourth quarter, and with the ball bouncing toward the baseline, he decided to just flip it up toward the hoop just for fun.

He was nearly out of bounds when he did, so he had to loft the ball over the shot clock for it to go in.

And that’s exactly what he did.
