None of the ESPN analysts picked the Detroit Lions to upset the New Orleans Saints as five-point underdogs, which is a bit of a surprise, given that they currently sit atop the NFC North division.
Still, it’s understandable, as the Saints are tough to beat at home, and have been playing well.
The Lions, though, dominated the game throughout, and their defense stymied Drew Brees like no team has done before this season. A lot of his yards came in garbage time in the fourth quarter, and, most importantly, he did not throw a touchdown pass.
Detroit emerged victorious, 28-13, and the Lions’ official Twitter account made sure to make light of ESPN’s poor picks after the game
