According to Fanball sources, the Cowboys and Dolphins may be discussing a trade for wide receiver Terrell Owens.The Cowboys would take a cap hit if they simply cut Owens, so the trade route is clearly the way to go if they’re seriously looking to part ways with the high-maintenance wideout.
At this point a rumor, especially considering that an Owens/Parcells marriage was supposedly on the rocks, but who knows, maybe it really wasn’t. Sparano kept Owens in check his last season with Dallas, so maybe there’s something to this, we’ll monitor the situation. Gotta love this time of year!
