Its Official, Jerry Jones has made his final decision, and Jason Garrett will be the Cowboys 8th coach in their history. The decision was a forgone conclusion and just a matter of the team working out all the contract details. The next order of business will locking up the assistants for Garrett’s staff, who’s staying and who’s gone. The hiring of Phillips will likely mean a few of the defensive assistants will want to join him in Houston. In addition, looks the Sparano’s firing is imminent, the Dolphins are actively looking for a replacement. Todd Bowles could be available very soon, and its believed he would take our defensive coordinator position. We’ll keep an eye on whether or not Garrett stays on as the OC/play caller or will he lure someone in to take over that, or will he promote someone from within. We’ll see
