More Pre-Draft Visits Point to Offensive Line Priority

The Cowboys continue to lineup their pre-draft visits, and the list continues to point to the offensive line being the priority and even more likely to be the first selection. The Cowboys have Danny Watkins, OG, Baylor and Tyron Smith, OT, USC coming in. But there are more high profiled offensive lineman coming to Dallas too:

…the team will also talk with Boston College’s Anthony Castonzo, Colorado’s Nate Solder and Wisconsin’s Gabe Carimi.

Of the four, Smith is considered the top prospect because of his athleticism, but Castonzo is highly rated on some team’s boards, too.

With Solder and Carimi, the Cowboys could be looking into trade-down scenarios should a team want to pay the price to move to the No. 9 spot. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he has received offers from teams for the pick.(ESPN Dallas)

Its good to see the names being considered by Dallas, since all of them should provide an instant upgrade to the tackle position. The question will be whether or not Jerry will trade down, and will there be a cluster-run on offensive tackles. This draft should address right tackle, and probably the guard position immediately within the first 3 picks. I see the Cowboys scripting the first 3 picks as OT, DB, OG or OT, DE, OG
