The NFL continued their series of The Top 100 Players of 2011, as voted exclusively by the players themselves. Tonight 70-61 were revealed.
To start tonight’s list, #70 goes to Miles Austin, narrated by Coach Garrett. Miles came into the league as an undrafted rookie out of Monmouth University under Parcell’s tenure mainly as a special teams specialist, but was able to move up the ranks as one of Romo’s primary weapons.
Here’s tonight’s list:
#70 Miles Austin, Cowboys
#69 John Abraham, Falcons
#68 Antrell Rolle, Cardinals
#67 Brian Waters, Chiefs
#66 Richard Seymour, Raiders
#65 Vonta Leach, Texans
#64 Tamba Hali, Chiefs
#63 Cameron Wake, Dolphins
#62 Jerod Mayo, Patriots
#61 Brandon Marshall, Broncos
Last week Ratliff (#75) and Romo (#72) were voted in by their peers.
With 3 of 6 Cowboys voted into the top 100, Ware and Witten are sure to be in the top echelon of players voted, but who is the third Cowboy? Could we see a offensive lineman called next, perhaps Gurode or Free. Will we see any surprises?
Stay tuned!
