The Cowboys move past the Eagles tonight, and move to 6-6 and somehow still in the playoff hunt. First thing, I’d like to mention is that we’re going to see some people go over board with this win, and think we’re back on track. We are not, the defense has slowly reverted back to its 2011 self, in some part due to injuries. Let’s quell the playoff talk people. There’s still a lot of football to be played, and you know how these guys play when they need to win down the stretch they let us down. I’m not one bit sold on this win.
Yes, I love that we swept our hated rivals, and I love seeing the Eagles in worse shape than us, but let’s be real. We are suppose to beat these bad teams, and we’re suppose to put together some consecutive wins. The task ahead is enormous, and still hard to fathom us coming out of this schedule with some more wins.
Remaining games: @Bengals, Steelers, Saints, @Redskins
That’s tough, real tough. Getting DeMarco Murray will help, but everyone knows Doug Free is a disaster, and that is going to sink this passing game. He can’t run or pass block, and he’s getting manhandled by smaller players. The defense is playing bad ball right now at the worst time of the year too. Keep on riding this roller coaster ride everyone, the Cowboys always know how to keep the high drama going.
