While a large majority of the country were glued to the tv in support of Team USA in the World Cup, the Cowboys were busy making some roster moves.
The Cowboys have officially ended Sean Lee’s 2014 campaign by placing him on IR. In addition, the Cowboys have added another body to training camp by trading for the much maligned LB, Rolando McClain from the Ravens. The Cowboys traded their 6th round pick for McClain and the Ravens 7th round pick.
I would not pencil in McClain for anything right now, let’s see if he’ll even make it to camp. Even in camp, he’ll have an uphill battle against some very hungry linebackers on the roster. To me, McClain is a camp body, right there on the same level as Amobi Okoye. We’ll see what these guys have in the tank.
Training camp needs to get here soon, this part of the season is brutal.
