Cowboys Comeback 34-31 Against Rams

The Cowboys have a created a pattern of starting slow and turning the ball over early and that will catch up to them again. Today the Cowboys started the game bumbling around going down 21-0, but they took the game one play at a time and scratched back  to take the lead and win the game.

Here’s what I have taken away from the game:

• DeMarco Murray is in a fumble slump in his last 3 games, he needs to cut that bs off. Murray was able to turn up his game after the fumble and ran for 100 yards and a TD.
• Morris Claiborne had a INT at the end of the 4th to ice the game, but everything else Claiborne did today was a disaster. I looked around twitter and everyone was asking why Moore was not in his place. It’ll be something the defensive staff and head coach will need to answer because he is a serious liability, huge. We better see Moore, Carr, and Scandrick in the game as the season moves forward. Claiborne is as sorry as a player can be on a starting 53.
• Anthony Hitchens needs to stick starting at one of the LB positions, he can play and made some solid plays today. He led the team with 13 tackles and 1 for a loss – the key 4th and inches stop. Hitchens can play.
• The offensive line has been solid, and they look to be playing better and able to tire down opposing defensive lines. I like where that unit is heading.
• The lack of a pass rush is still killing us. We don’t have one, and today we saw the QB target Claibust and a few others all day for big plays. Counting the days until Spencer and Lawrence return.
• Dan Bailey is money.
• Dunbar and Escobar made a few cameos but nothing significant. These guys are going to be used rarely I think. Wasted roster spots.
• Tony Romo looked to move around better today, but he is still missing zip on his passes, the one that stood out was the pick 6. The ball took forever to get there.
• Terrance Williams is a pretty good receiver, I’d like to see him get more looks.
• This team is turning the ball over too much to start games and puts too much pressure the entire game. Get it fixed.
• Zack Martin has been pretty damn good. Great 1st round selection.

Cowboys win 34-31, we are now 2-1.
