The Cowboys moved back into the 7th round to select Geoff Swaim, TE, Texas, #246 overall. The Cowboys gave up a future 6th round pick to trade back into the 7th. Evidentially, the Cowboys thought Swaim was a talent they needed to use a draft pick instead of risking losing him during the undrafted free agent signing frenzy which begins now.
